Mr. Bowers is a senior vice president and credit product strategist in the Newport Beach office. Prior to returning to Newport Beach in 2020, he spent two years in the Hong Kong office to help expand PIMCO's credit business in Asia, with responsibility for global and Asia regional credit strategies. Previously, he covered investment grade and capital securities as a member of the credit product strategy team in Newport Beach. He joined the firm in 2007. He has 17 years of investment experience and holds an undergraduate degree in business-economics from the University of California, Los Angeles.
