Mr. Berndt leads PIMCO’s European insurance portfolio management group and manages sterling and euro investment grade credit and aggregate portfolios. He is also a member of the research group of the European portfolio committee. Prior to joining PIMCO in 2000, he worked for BfG Invest in Frankfurt, managing a broad range of fixed income portfolios. He has 28 years of investment experience and holds a master’s degree in business from Business School of Banking and Finance in Frankfurt, Germany. He is also a member of the CFA Institute.
